Sydney couple ventures to prestige wine country of Mudgee, NSW to create an unforgettable wedding day.

Jo and Michael were going for a sentimental feel, as they were privileged to have the opportunity to wear family heirlooms for this momentous occasion. As you scroll through the photo gallery you will see Michael’s Nonnas fur coat and his Nunnos gold wristwatch. This joyous occasion brought both family members together with wedding details being made by themselves and their family. Jo’s mum made the dream catcher, with cotton used from her late Grandmother and Jo’s Grandma made the crochet backdrop for the dessert table. The women in their families made delectable desserts, using Mary’s secret Biscotti recipe. 

The bohemian style that Jo envisioned was achieved using feminine floral head crowns and a lush bridal bouquet of soft pastel tones with a touch of vibrant red hues. The groom wore a dusty pink blazer to complement the brides vintage gown and the classic salmon pink ‘56 Chevy Bel Air.

We stumbled upon Sheri McMahon Photography by pure luck and we will be forever grateful. Sheri was professional, full of ideas and a load of fun but most of all, her passion for fine art film photography shone through both on the day of our wedding, and in our photography collection we received in the weeks after our magical day.  Not only were my now husband and I impressed, so were our guests with many commenting on the amazing and professional service we received on our day.  In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Sheri calmed our nerves and fears surrounding our photography choice, given we had misfortune with the original photographer we had booked, leaving our only wish being that we wish we found Sheri from the get go. She made us feel comfortable and we had complete confidence in her work and her talent prior to our day, knowing that everything would be taken care of.  On our wedding day (29.09.2018), we left it in Sheri’s hands to choose our photo locations at our beautiful venue – Burnbrae Winery. When we received our collection our hearts were full of love, joy and pure happiness. Not one photo disappointed us. They are truly pieces of art – we can’t believe how good we look!!!!  Sheri has exceeded all expectations for us, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of photographer to capture our special memories.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts…Mr & Mrs Mattarelli.
